Officially a qualified manager

On Friday, my nearly three years on RANEPA’s Public and Municipal Administration programme reached their natural conclusion: we were formally presented with our diplomas.

In case anyone missed it, I enrolled at RANEPA in the summer of 2022 after realising that the management skills I had acquired through experience needed a solid theoretical foundation. From time to time, I published posts about:

• The lecturers who shared their knowledge with us;
• The theory behind assessing applications in project work;
• The patenting of IT solutions;
• Various conferences in which I took part;
• My academic publishing activity.

During my studies, I also completed two additional continuing-professional-development courses. In February this year, I successfully defended my master’s dissertation. We received our diplomas separately from the rest of the Academy, as part of its annual academic conference.

In short, that is one more honours diploma for my collection.
