The end of last week was packed…
On Friday, I took part in a session on “Russia’s public policy priorities: choosing a development path” at the conference “Public administration and Russia’s development: new horizons and a vision of the future”. The conference was held at RANEPA’s Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service. I spoke about our experience of introducing IT at the Library for Natural Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Then on Saturday, I joined fellow master’s students and lecturers from the Public and Municipal Administration programme for a roundtable on “The creative cluster in the context of urban economic policy”, held as part of a field workshop in Kolomna.
The roundtable covered the following topics:
- What drives creative clusters: government policy and entrepreneurial initiatives;
- Municipal and private exhibition spaces;
- Developing creative skills;
- Delivering creative projects through public-private partnerships.
