Cosmonautics Day

I was lucky enough to visit Baikonur and witness a manned launch. On that day, the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft, with a Russian-American crew consisting of Sergey Prokopyev, Dmitry Petelin, and Francisco Rubio, set off for the ISS.

The ground trembled beneath our feet as the launch rocket detached from the launch table, creating an indescribable sensation. It is an experience that must be felt to be truly understood. I recommend that everyone visit Baikonur and witness the power of the rocket, which represents the triumph of human thought directed towards space.

I am proud of what our predecessors have accomplished in space exploration.
