Startups work in mysterious ways.

For the past six weeks, the project Arturs Zantmans and I have been working on has been part of the MTS Startup Hub accelerator’s TravelTech track. Arturs is pictured in the photo. Under the guidance of our business sponsor at MTS, [Sergey Derevtsov](https://www.linkedin.com/in/derevtsov), we travelled a rocky road, testing several different business ideas and strategies along the way.

In the end, our project became a finalist and earned a place on stage at MTS Startup Day. To give you a sense of what that achievement represents:

- Applications submitted at the start: 159.
- Projects selected in the first round: 40.
- Projects admitted to the programme: 6.
- Projects presented by MTS Startup Hub at MTS Startup Day: 2.

I am sure Arturs Zantmans will soon share more details about the event.

We are proud of what we have achieved in such a short time, and we are confident that enormous opportunities lie ahead. That confidence is not unfounded. At the recent TravelHub conference, MTS.Travel CEO [Vadim Melnikov](https://www.linkedin.com/in/vadim-melnikov-50715613), also pictured, spoke positively about the prospects for the market segment our project is targeting.

P.S. More details to follow…
